Grant Guidelines


Purpose of Grant

When the Trustees deem that there are additional funds from our fundraising activities to contribute to the Youth Activities Program Grant, we plan to allocate them to community program activities that demonstrate Youth Driven Initiatives, incorporating elements of Active Living and Outdoor Appreciation that benefit children and youth (up to the age of 21).

Eligibility Criteria

Your organization must be a charity registered with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Your program is based in Eastern Ontario.
Your group is either:


We support youth programming that is open to all youth regardless of gender, race, creed, economic status, physical abilities, etc.

All costs funded by the grant must be eligible and necessary to carry out the described program activities.

Submission Reminder

The complete application submission (authorized application form and required attachments) must be received by the Greater Fort Town Area Charity by no later than the application deadline March 31st. Late or incomplete submissions will be deemed ineligible.

Confirmation of Submission

Applicants will receive an email within two business days that the application submission was received. If a confirmation email is not received in two business days, it is the responsibility of the applicant to contact a fund representative.
